I entered a songwriting contest recently. The theme was about revolution and change. So I decided to tackle a revenant, but very difficult topic... energy resources. W/ the outrageous price of oil and the state of our economy, the answer seems so obvious...but change is hard. And so was writing about this theme w/out sounding like a commercial.
Well, I must have done something right because I’ve been chosen as 1 of 12 finalists in the competition! The final decisions will be made on Sunday 5/22 at Blockleys Pourhouse in Philadelphia.
